So Bridgette Bar runs a restaurant where they feel that they do not need to speak to, or listen to, their customers! You can't phone them; only text them and good luck if they get back to you. We booked on Open Table and discovered a glitch with their system and when we tried to explain it to them after spending $300 on a mediocre dinner, were told that we were "ageist" ( true...I am old. We were celebrating my 62nd birthday!) because we didn't understand that it wasn't important for them to have a telephone, which was not even what we were trying to explain to them. They went on to talk about how they were a successful restaurant and that we did not understand how things work today! And this was from both of their rather junior management staff working on Sunday night. Well, good luck with that! My guess is that the "ageism" customer has more money to spend on their restaurant than any other group. In the world of come and go restaurants, I think this one is on it's way out! Connecting with your customers is still king.
