Probably the 3rd or 4th time I've been to Johnny Mac's now and they're just as awesome as ever.
Their white pizza is great. No boring Alfredo sauce here.
I've also ordered a regular pizza with jalapeƱo and pineapple. Their 6" is the perfect size for one person. Nice crust, on the thin side but not so thin it's hard as a rock.
Their homemade garlic bread is one of my favorites. Packed with garlic, topped with a tomato slice and the perfect amount of melty cheese. It's served with a side of marinara which my girlfriend goes without because of the onions. Otherwise no complaints.
Most recently I ordered the pasta primavera. It normally comes with Alfredo sauce but I only like white sauce on my pizza so I opted for marinara instead. It. Was. FANTASTIC. Garlic, tomatoes, artichokes, broccoli. The portion size was huge and it came with garlic bread.
While I was devouring my pasta deliciousness, my girlfriend was enjoying the chicken club panini. Simple but wonderfully done, only comment would be the honey mustard sauce on it. Normally honey mustard has kind of a tang to it and while some of it was, some of the mustard tasted more dull and creamy. Maybe like they used the mayonnaise knife to spread it or something.
All that said, johnny macs continues to impress and satisfy.
