I can only comment on the public skating session. First time I went on a random lunch hour hoping I could get a few laps in. Turns out they have very limited hours available for public skate which is probably the greatest downside. That being said, it is very clean and a good facility.
I brought my own skates, my husband rented his skates. They looked new and clean. Hockey skate style available, not sure if figure skates available.
Downside to public skate is that it's very very very crowded. Lots of little kids pushing around the trainers. I felt like I was constantly dodging collisions with kids who are quite erratic. Can't blame them. But would be nice to have an adult public skate too!
All in all would come back. Wish that it weren't so popular is the only thing...
