| - Update: 4/2017. We visited PDC again this month. Now I understand why one needs to sign a waiver before being allowed on the play equipment. Although on our first visit there was a (rather ineffectual) monitor, this time, when it was less crowded, there was no staff member monitoring the children on the equipment. This is really not a place to sit and relax with your tablet or phone and a beverage while your kids or grand kids play. They don't have free WiFi which seriously limits any internet activities. As all parents know, it only takes one misbehaving, unsupervised and undisciplined child to set the tone for others. I found myself watching my grandsons like the proverbial hawk. Also, another poster said adults aren't allowed on the equipment. Both times we've visited, there have been adults playing with their children on the equipment. On the plus side, the staff is friendly and the place is VERY clean. The food is comparably priced, consisting of salads and deli (lunch meat) sandwiches, plus pastries.
My grandsons love this place and we will certainly be back. It is not a "cheap date", costing close to $50 for admission and lunch for the 3 of us. But when your grandkids are your heart and soul, you just suck it up!
