  • Hey have you heard? Woodman's doesn't take credit cards. Great, now you know and can move on. I love everything about Woodmans except the produce. I left Madison for a while and came back -- and missed this place so much. This is the best place in town for non-produce groceries based on both variety and prices. The produce is often a crap and I don't like digging through boxes of moldy fruit. I am giving 5 stars to Woodman's, because it carries some of the cheapest pantry staples I can find and the bread/meat/dairy/frozen/health food section are mesmerizing.
