  • I stopped in on a slow weekday and sat at the bar. The bartender was super friendly and gave A+ service. I am giving them 3 stars because I was disappointed with the food. I had been so excited to try the tacos. I had eaten at Gallo Blanco at the Clarendon and loved the food, so I was hoping for a great dinner. I just didn't care for the flavor profiles. I tried the pork belly taco, the shrimp, and the cochinita (shredded pork). I'm determined to give this place another shot though. I love the laid back atmosphere, the truly Mexican vibe, the lack of pretentiousness completely, and the service. I hope next time I can give them 4 stars!
