| - I have been seeing the same PA in this office for two years, and I've always liked her. My most recent visit was a mess, and I don't know if something has changed since my last visit. I have never had too much trouble getting an appointment or waiting too long, but after two hours in the office, half of which was spent without pants, I asked for someone. A woman I've never seen or met (and still haven't, as she wasn't excited to introduce herself) came in and begrudgingly gave me a pelvic exam and nodded through my medical history and reason for visit. Since I've lived in Vegas, many doctor visits have been marathons, but I've never said anything, just waited and stewed about it. Today I learned why I've taken that road. When you say you don't like waiting half naked for over 45 minutes, healthcare staff get very angry and start telling you how hard things are for them. Yep, I can't even imagine how hard your job is. But does it make it easier for people to wait two hours and be angry and frustrated when you start the visit? What do I know. I will be seeking out a new gynecologist, if it makes any difference.
