We had dined here before it was Shakespeare's and thought we would check it out again. It was busy with a 50th birthday party setup as you came in the door. We found our own table. Waiter was friendly and got our drink order. Instead of a McCallem neat as asked it came on the rocks but he was prompt in correcting the situation
My husband ordered the homemade pot pie and I ordered the Rueben with onion rings being told they were homemade too.
Food was delivered the chicken pot pie was an inch tall and looked a little soggy. While it tasted ok my husband said it was more like a frittata minus the eggs. When we asked the waiter how this could be a pot pie my husband explaining he was English he knows what a pot pie should be
The waiter said he saw the chef make it in the morning. He did say the chef was Mexican so it was his interpretation of an English pot pie! That gave us a good laugh.
The sandwich was good but the onion rings were out of a bag.
