rev:text	Won't be renewing... I'm only giving this place 3 stars since maintenance is VERY responsive, my location is 2 steps from the pool and...I guess another point since it's conveniently located next to my son's school. But I have some gripes. 1. The fluctuating cost of living here is the straw the breaks this camel's back. My base is about $854 (and some change), but since a few months ago, it's turned into a variable rate since they decided to go communist Russia and share the cost of water/sewage/trash between units and based on occupancy. So, we've ended-up paying anywhere from $895 to $921 in the stretch of 2 months. When asked for the rationale, I was given a canned response that "there was a 30 day notice". Lol...Like people are going to up and move elsewhere AFTER they've signed a new lease. 2. Leaks galore and old appliances: I can't count how many times we've called on maintenance to fix issues dealing with floods and random leaks. We've lived here for 3 years and have had to replace the stove and refrigerator. Both were older than Jesus's auntie and uncle. And the rest of the insides of this particular unit are probably ready to die off soon as well. 3. Gated community my arse: The gates worked maybe once or twice since we've been here. You'll catch a guy "working" on them every other 3rd blue moon. But it's usually broken by noon rush hour again. This means open season for people to tamper with or steal vehicles (mine has been broken into twice). That's probably all of phoenix though. And it's a trash-picker's smorgasbord for goodies. They come here like they have an open invite. 4. Groundskeeping is pretty much non-existent nowadays. They used to be pretty good, but it's shit-tacular service current day. The grill's work intermittently. There's dog poo all over the place. And overall, it's been less and less aesthetically pleasing over the last year or so. I'll stop my rant there and say that we'll be leaving this place as soon as we find a more hospitable complex or single-family home. Choose somewhere else unless you're desperate.
