I'm a United member who constantly hovers around the Premier or Premier Executive status with the occasional 1K status which gives me Star Alliance Gold status. I fly into Toronto on a frequent basis to visit my family so having access to the lounges is a huge plus. The international lounge is a lot better than the US/Canada lounge. There is a pho station, a huge salad bar, meat and cheese ravioli's with the option for either pesto, marinara or alfredo sauce. A huge stocked bar with top shelf liquor and beer on tap consisting of Guiness and Molson can be found. You have access to free showers and the chairs are super comfortable. The cleaning staff is on point and the internet in the lounge is hi-speed. You cannot enter the lounge if you aren't flying business/first class or are not a Star Alliance member. I can bring a guest with me but if there is more than one guest, the fee is $50 which isn't bad if you have a long wait.
