  • My husband and I came in for the first time today and had an awesome experience! One of the owners was at Xcycle where I was this morning, handing out pre-workout. I tasted it, and it was the first one I've tasted that I actually liked, and it kept me energized throughout a hard spin class, so we stopped in to buy it (it's called metcon start if anyone's looking for one that doesn't taste like death.) Kevin was working when we came in and was so helpful - he knew what he was talking about, and we felt like he really cared about educating us, not just making sales. My husband has been looking for a good weight gaining supplement and Kevin showed him a good one to use, so my husband was happy after leaving too! They also have a body composition test station, so we both did it. While it was really cool to see all of the statistics of our bodies, I'm two weeks into a healthier lifestyle and i had some anxiety before I stepped on. My husband is my biggest supporter and made me feel at ease, but I was surprised in the best way from the positive attitude and non-judgment from Kevin. As someone who is overweight (for the time being!), I always feel slightly judged when I walk into a nutrition store where the people working are always really fit, but I didn't feel that judgment at all here. It means a lot to not feel that way and we will be doing all of our supplement shopping here after such a great experience!!
