| - I started hearing a constant clicking noise with in days of buying a "new to me" car, and, was really beginning to question the mechanical soundness of my purchase. I finally managed to view the car from just the right angle, revealing a very large bolt in one of the tires. Knowing I had been driving on this for days, I pulled in to the first tire shop I saw. After a bit of attempting to maneuver the bolt out of the tire, it was apparent that there was just no way a removal and patch would be sufficient. Seeing the situation, before I even approached the store, a representative walked out to greet me. He confirmed my assessment, and, presented several options to consider. Via phone, I ran the options and pricing by someone far more knowledgeable than myself, who confirmed that the quote was fair. So, as long as I was replacing one tire, I relented, and, gave the go ahead to replace them all. For just rolling up with no appointment, I was happy to hear that they could get working right away. I additionally asked them to check the breaks as it seemed they were screeching a bit. I braced myself for some elaborate response detailing an exorbitant amount of additionally required brake work, but, was surprised to be told that the brakes were just fine, and, the noise they were making was likely the result of the pads being "so new." For such an unexpected service, and, expense to have to undertake, I was pleased to have been so efficiently attended to, and, I also very much appreciate that no attempts were made to solicit any unnecessary repairs.
*** This review is a bit over due, as the issue I had occurred October 1st. Its fair to report, however, that the service stands, and, everything remains in good working order.
