| - Wow what a great GoodLife Fitness location - I was considering a Fit4Less membership before I saw this place! This has got to be one of the best gyms around - the staff here are friendlier than Equinox, where the sales staff are so pushy, they never stop sending you emails even after you ask them to stop.
From my experience, they also seem to have the largest towels, I usually have an issue at the York and Wellington GoodLife with the towels (they don't quite wrap around my body). Here, there's absolutely no issue! Usually, you have a hard time trying to make the towel fit around you, especially if you are a broader guy like me, but this one makes me feel welcome. No longer do I have to choose if I have to show some side-leg or some front-leg before I shower. I wonder why all the other GoodLife locations don't get bigger towels.
Besides that there are great concrete steps leading up to the gym, the most contemporary design possible for a GoodLife, and friendly staff. It is no wonder why this is rated as one of the best GoodLife gyms in the area. The equipment is reasonably new and everything is in tip top shape.
I had a few issues with my membership and Kasey, I am not sure if he is a manager or not, but he helped sort everything out - he made it a breeze of a process.
Another perk is that you can get from here is parking validation. Getting a membership for this location means that you can park for 2 hours for $2. I've never seen such a great deal. I am not going to lie, but I will absolutely abuse this policy. I will grab a parking validation slip and go eat dinner after a nice workout.
My only gripe is that you have to climb two flights on stairs to get to the workout level. It's a warm-up that I never asked for - maybe I should suck it up because it's a gym.
