Never I have seen such heartless, COLD, non caring people in my life. Today I had to take an innocent nine week old puppy to this vet. It was most likely not going to make it. She was the runt of a litter that a rescue group had saved. We all tried very hard to save her but this morning it was obvious that she would probably not survive and was suffering. The minute I walked through the door papers were pushed in my face with costs before I could catch my breath. No one showed any interest in this poor little animal. Not once did anyone there show an ounce of empathy or compassion for this little baby. I asked if they thought there could be any hope and the answer was that will be 500 to find out. They wouldn't even ask the vet if we should try to save her before they got the check! SERIOUSLY! Unfortunately the rescue didn't have that kind of money so we had to let her go. But wait, the coldness didn't stop there. They put the poor foster mom on hold while she was crying when taking her credit card to put the baby to sleep. I repeat NO HEART!!!! It's such a shame because when I went there when the past owners were there, I took hurt pigeons there and the entire staff gathered around the little bird to figure out a way to save it. They also saved my sweet cat JD alone with endless wildlife. Never once did they not show compassion or go above and beyond to help rescue animals or any animal for that fact. The past owners had heart. I realize that all businesses have to make money but to have no heart much less customer service skills in a heart business is pure insanity. I hate to think what the quality of care a pet might get from a place who's only passion is what they charge. I am heartbroken over the loss of the little baby. And even more upset that she had to die in a place with no soul. As a professional pet sitter, and writer I will make sure that I never recommend this place to my clients again.
