| - I finally know where to get an awesome piece of cheesecake!
We tried three cheesecakes, the carrot cake, and a hot chocolate.
Firstly, the carrot cake was seriously delicious--and I thought I didn't like carrot cake! It has always seemed so dry, grainy, and not interesting before. This carrot cake was moist, flavourful, and I even declared that I possibly loved it MORE than the cheesecake! That is a statement I never thought I could make, as I'm a devoted cheesecake lover.
As for the cheesecakes: YUM. We tried the Cappuccino, Pistachio, and Triple Chocolate. All three of us declared that the Triple Chocolate was the winner. It was soooo good. The others were also who-cares-about-eating-dinner-tonight-anyways kind of good, as well, but not quite the same level. The Pistachio's flavour was very subtle, and so was my least favourite of the three. (Not that I wouldn't gladly eat it again, because I would.) Their basic cheesecake base is clearly awesome. The texture was heavenly.
The hot chocolate was solid. It wasn't something I'd go out of my way for, but it was decent.
The service was friendly, but slow. Our waiter declared he would bring our bill and then proceeded to forget about us. But we got up and walked up to the counter, and so that solved that. We weren't in a hurry, anyways.
In summary, I'll be coming back for cheesecake bliss. It isn't cheap, but it's also realllly yummy. It's indulgent. So indulge already!
