PROS: Light, non-greasy dishes, fresh ingredients, homestyle cooking
CONS: Pricey-for-portion, borderline bland
My feeling about the food at Himal Chuli (and perhaps Nepalese food in general) is that the dishes are essentially Indian, but without the heavy load of spices and ghee/butter. My taste buds were not wow'ed, but the dishes did feel more homey. A possible alternative for those who are turned off by strongly-spiced Indian cuisine.
