The Transit System in Las Vegas is really good. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is lack of connectivity to a rail system. There are many 24/7 routes. There is excellent wi fi on the buses. There are special bus lanes on many routes and several express routes. Passes can be bought and used from your smartphone. Service on the basic routes is frequent. The buses seating and air conditioning is usually in working order and the drivers are generally helpful and the quality of their driving is better and safer than any tourist or local. They do service most of the city. A few minor improvements would be service on Buffalo from Westcliff to Warm Springs, a super pass allowing use on both the buses and the monorail. (revenue sharing can always be negotiated), matching the Sunday service exactly to the Saturday service for simplicity and frequency, and negotiating deals with merchants to giving transit users with current passes a discount equivalent to the value of free parking provided. In summary it is a system that is improving and you will find that you save time by taking the bus, thanks to great wi fi on board, and save the planet as well. Overall it is an excellent option for getting around!
