| - Bottom line: A cute boutique salon that did an excellent nail polish job.
I visit Buckeye about twice a year and I'm so happy to see that there is a day spa at Verrado! I needed to get my nails done just in time for NYE, and I was able to get an appointment fast. They told me they're usually pretty booked, but on the day that I visited, the salon was pretty empty. Here are my thoughts:
PROS:
- Appointments: Easy to schedule online and got text message confirmations.
- Staff: Super friendly and chatty staff.
- Color and brand selection: They carry CND Shellac and had a fair amount of colors to choose from.
- Paint job: My manicurist did an amazing job!! Major props to her technique - when my nails grew out, she painted around my cuticles in a way that it didn't poke out. No bubbles, skips, or uneven nails. My nails and cuticles stayed perfect until they got too long.
- Decor: Loved how the entire salon looked. Really modern, minimalistic and feminine.
- Nails, waxes, facials, massages, hair salon: a one stop shop for your pampering needs! My mom ended up getting a brow wax and tint and was really happy with how everything turned out.
CONS:
- Prices: You get what you pay for. Even though this wasn't the cheapest gel mani and pedi I've gotten, they did an excellent job and I'll definitely be coming back.
There's a boutique out front with lots of vacation-y clothing, but there's nothing I'd personally wear. Also major plus for carrying Aveda (hair, skin, and makeup) and Moroccanoil.
