  • Mad about waffles? Then, this is the place for you. This cheery walk up cafe serves a breakfast special waffle with eggs, bacon or sausage, and coffee $5.49. Fresh fruit and other toppings are available for an additional fee. They also have a handful of savory waffle sandwiches or pizza and then a slew of dessert waffles. My mom and I both had the breakfast special with bacon. Just fresh strawberries for me and butter for her. Eggs were fine, bacon was crisp, but a bit small. The waffle was great. It's nice and light, crisp, yet chewy and not doughy at all. The griddle marks are deep so your toppings melt right in. Coffee is self serve. It's a nice option close to home. I'll return sometime to satisfy a sweet tooth and try the coffee waffle.
