  • I'm a little surprised at all the fabulous reviews. I guess I hit the place on a bad day. Someone actually called this place beautiful? It's not bad upstairs... average decor, but hardly beautiful. The stairway down to the washrooms and the washrooms themselves were a mess, old and badly needing some paint and a little care. The word Men was on the door, along with the symbol for both men and women. I asked a couple of people who were working down there and was told, "You can use either one". I was meeting someone there and used the washroom immediately while he went to order my coffee. About 15 minutes later, after he had finished his own coffee, we saw someone wandering around, cup in hand, asking "Decaf Americano?" I won't call him a waiter because he seemed more than a little annoyed that he had to walk the 3 meters to my table, as he placed my coffee on the table, saying, "It's been on the counter for a long time". In spite of all this, the coffee was very good, not good enough to make me ever go back, but very good.
