Classic drive in movie experience, with 2 screens to pick from. Reasonable admission for a night of fun. Our kiddo got in play time with friends trying to catch fireflies before the first showing, and then hopped in the back of the van. A couple of pillows and blankets made for a cozy nest.
Admission is reasonable and concessions offered something for omnivore and plant strong alike. Total for a night out that everyone enjoyed was a bargain.
The staff were personable and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and you didn't have to climb over anyone to sneak out.
Tips:
Cars go in front, and big trucks and vans go behind the orange cone so they don't block the shorter vehicles.
Bring pillows, blankets, chairs.. whatever you find comfy for movie watching.
Have kids wear PJs to the movies, or pack some for a quick change.
Bring a few smaller cups for sharing popcorn - easier to share and hold a small cup in their lap.
Check the schedule, not every double feature may be the perfect match for your crew.
Cons;
- Might want to bring some bug spray
- Shows do not start until it is dark enough, so start time is not precise
- Close to freight rail, some engineers are more heavy handed with the whistle than others. Not terrible... but did briefly blot out the dialog.
