As you tell by now I love to shop at Walmart and who doesn't right? lol However, this was not my favorite shopping place. As Timmy moved to UNLV for his 2nd year, we decided to order a mini refrigerator and microwave. We timed it so that when we arrived in Las Vegas we would just go to the pick up center and pick it up.
I was wrong, we got the to the store and went to the pick up area and they were able to find the microwave but could not find the refrigerator. After searching everywhere we decided it would be best to pick up one that was available in the store so after waiting and hour we went and got one of the floor and the employee's by the way were very nice. As we loaded up the cart I decided I would go back to pick up to have them refund my money back for the other refrigerator I had originally order. However, because I purchased warranty they said I would need to call Walmart online to get my money back. So going back and forth and all over the store we end up in the checkout line.
As the clerk rung up our items the system freezes, and then over the loud speaker I hear my name. At my son and brother argued why would they call my name so I asked the check out clerk to call to the pick up room and see if they did. Guess what she is not able to call back to the pick up so I walk all the way to the pick up and guess what? They had found the refrigerator so at this point I have to go back up front and put that one back and I get my original refrigerator. At this point we are almost 4 hours into being at Walmart which should have been more like 1 hour with some additional shopping. I know in the future though that I will not be ordering stuff to pick up from this Walmart but from the one near the airport which is not only a real Super Walmart but it ten times more organized. This Walmart is very busy an chaotic. It should never have been this difficult to pick up the refrigerator and I should not have to go online again for them to refund me but in the end all worked out and we got what we originally came for.
