My son was seen in ER this week and sent up to ICU. He was diagnosed with T1D and needless to say, it was a shock to all of us. We came home last night with more information than I ever imagined. It is very scary how life can be drastically changed in the blink of an eye. I cannot say Thank you enough to the ER Staff, the wonderful nurses and Drs. in ICU, and to the awesome nurses on 5th Floor that all took the very best care of my son while we were there. The compassion and caring showed to us are second to none. The hospital is a scary place to be for a child, even one who is 13 years old, but everyone went out of their way to show kindness, explain things along the way and make our stay as easy as possible. Thank you to each of you for your compassion and professionalism. You are all angels in your field.
Sincerely,
Sheryl & Austin
