| - Giving 1 star after two different poor interactions. The first time I dropped my truck off with them after having an early appointment for an oil change. My truck took all day. My truck was the last to be serviced. I decided that they were probably just busy, and I understood. I went back to get my fuel filters changed, a service I've previously had done there before too. I told them when setting my 9AM appointment,I had to go to work and I needed my truck by 2 PM. They said it wouldn't be a problem.
2 PM rolls around and I hadn't heard anything so I had to call them and they said that they ordered the wrong part and they wouldn't be done until after 5 and that they would stay to finish it. I was upset that nobody called me to let me know this so I had to let my supervisor know I wasn't going to be in because last minute I didn't have a ride.
Then when we went to check out, they tried to charge me $200 more for the exact same service and filter that I had there before. I showed them my old receipt from just a few month prior and he had no explanation other than, "I don't know what to say." Makes me believe it possibly was a mistake due to ordering the wrong part. We began to tell him how upset we were that we didn't have the car by 2PM and his response is "well we've been busy and there was a lot of cars before you and I need to get my guys out of here, so is there anything else?" We asked why nobody communicated all of this to us and he said, well you should've assume that's what the call was for." We corrected him by saying we called them after the 2PM deadline, they didn't call us to keep us posted. Jaime was informative and came off cold and rude. We told him this would probably be our last visit with Firestone and he said, "that's your choice, feel free to go elsewhere" and when we left he proceeded to say, "id tell you to come back soon but I already know you guys won't, so have a good day."
Overall, I wish they would've not let us schedule our appointment if they were already too busy. Then when they fell behind, I would've appreciated a phone call and not me having to contact them after the expected finish time. Jaime did give us a nice discount after we pointed out the price difference. His customer service was poor and he's right, this will probably be the last time we use Firestone
