I'm not a big yelper. But I have to share this experience I had at Oscar steakhouse last night. Im a 2nd generation Las Vegan and this has always been on my bucket list to try. A good friend of mine/customer got a promotion at his company so it was definitely a much needed celebration dinner. I made my reservations on OpenTable, and oscars called me a couple hours before to confirm that we're still on for my party of 10. When I showed up To valet my car they somehow knew my name and asked if I was here for the party and then they parked my car in the front of the casino (that was really cool).
We then went upstairs and was greeted respectfully and sat at our table that was amazing, then of course I ordered the famous Oscar Martini it was made perfect in did not disappoint. I glanced over the menu, I already knew what I wanted, I wanted to eat like Oscar Goodman the man that I've looked up to for a long time. My parents and grandparents would always tell me stories about how Las Vegas used to be when they were growing up, they would explain that they would get dressed up with their friends and significant other and go out to enjoy the casinos. I believe a lot of that is been forgotten over the years that I've seen growing up. But I'm so glad Oscar kept his place the way he did. It was classy and a little gangster, I felt like I was Oscar Goodman for the night LOL. This is a must try place if you're from out of town or especially if your local. This is what Las Vegas truly represents to me and makes me proud to be a Las Vegan. Thank you Oscar Goodman for keeping a gangster
