| - For a newer Hilton property, this place was REALLY disappointing. As a Hilton Honors member who has always had good luck with Homewoods in the past, I booked two rooms for two friends and me for five nights. I requested a high floor and asked that both rooms be near to each other. I was unable to select rooms in advance. When we checked in, I found that my friends were on the 4th floor and I was on the 2nd floor on the other side of the building. I asked Alonso (his badge indicated that he was a shift supervisor) if we could be housed near each other. He was clearly having a bad day and stated that he "cannot promise anything". He made absolutely no effort to see if he could make any moves and we were given card keys to our rooms. I went to my room and found that mine did not work so I had to return to get it rekeyed. Without apology, he got that done and handed my card back to me.
The room I had (one king bed) was not a suite (I thought it was Homewood SUITES?) but a studio. It did have a full kitchen, though.
The breakfast was not very enticing, though we did partake each morning. Most items were bland and unappealing, including scrambled eggs that were typically very watery. We did have one good breakfast there, which included biscuits and gravy. The two ladies who worked on this were very pleasant and personable, though they were always working real hard. We made a point of thanking them. We were only able to go to one of the evening receptions and it was spartan.
This property is directly in the flight path for Sky Harbor airport. However, unless you are outside, you do not hear much noise.
Overall, very disappointing!
