| - I stopped in here last night with my boyfriend. The location is nice, and the decorations are cute - the lights are kegs, the seating is plenty, and the waitress was nice and attentive. But the food and beer were both somewhat mediocre. Nothing was offensive or bad, but it was just...meh. I had a S'mores beer, which is the best one they offer, while my boyfriend had a flight of 8, and nothing in his flight enticed me to order a second beer. They weren't bad. They were just beer.
As far as the food, I got the candied bacon pizza and he got the pulled pork open-face sandwich. The pizza was very large but VERY thin and very very skimpy on the bacon - if they had tripled the bacon on it and maybe added a balsamic drizzle or some other kind of secondary flavor, it would've been a killer dish. As it was, every 3-5 bites I got a bit of the bacon (which was excellent), and the rest was a paper-thin white pizza. The pulled pork was pretty good, and a lot of food. We also ordered the parmesan garlic knots, which were 6 dollars for only 4 of them and didn't really taste like parmesan or garlic. They were just slightly undercooked dough. They could really do with kicking up the flavor in those.
I wouldn't say anything was so bad that I wouldn't go again. But it's just not worth picking out of all the options you have. If they made some tweaks to their food, I would come back just for it. They have a lot of good ideas. But with the beer and food both as nothing special, I won't recommend it.
