After our first visit last night, I'm going to give Harvey's the benefit of the doubt and go four stars but that may change with future visits.
We started splitting a wedge salad, then had the Club and the Cuban. All very good. Then the place got a little busier and the service went a little south. Only two desert choices this night, the pizza cookie or the bread pudding. Kind of in the mood for something, and seeing nothing special about the cookie, we went with the bread pudding. We waited at least 20 minutes for it and it was ok at best, to us. Bread pudding can be very different at different places. I appreciated that it was over the top sickly sweet or drenched in sauce but it was too far the other side, dry, chewy and bland. It's a tough niche, the upscale pub where some are just drinking but families are welcome. We had fun and will try again but go elsewhere for desert after.
