I used to be LA hip when I was 22, 32, 42, and even 52. But now I'm 62 and a little shy to get 'out there' hair-wise. Las Vegas is actually more conservative than LA believe it or not, and having hair that makes people go ooh, nice is important to me. My X hairdresser insisted that I wear my hair butch short because it made me look younger. I believed it for too long. Now I've met Kelcie, a Diva stylist that insisted I grow back my curly locks and be wildly colorful but feminine with longer hair. She was RIGHT! Kelcie is young, hip, and fun to talk to (let's face it - coming out of the hairdressers can be more therapeutic than a $250 shrink session as far as a self-esteem boost).
She cares about your input but also steers you toward something that may be even a better style for you. There's risk involved in looking unique but Kelcie has never sent me home looking like a fright - even on Halloween! If you're looking for a stylist who cares about you more than the tab, she's your very cool lady with cut and color.
