We stepped in here to indulge in the ice cream portion of Ice Cream and Co but I was also intrigued that they also serve sandwiches and coffee. The ice cream is on the furthest case and all the flavors sounded mouthwatering. I loved the unique nature of ones such as Coquito and Saturday Morning Cartoons. I think it was the owner here today and she was so friendly and nice. She was extremely generous with samples and didn't mind at all giving out different varieties for me to try. I also loved how you could get multiple mini scoops (Up to 4) for the small size cup and even more varieties for the larger ones.
After some dessert deliberation I decided on a 4 way combination of mint chip, Mine!! (Love the name haha), Nutella, and Strawberry Letter 23. My favorite of the 4 was the Mine!! I can see why she dubbed it that because it was so rich creamy and dense, full of delicious flavors including peanut butter and pretzels. I also enjoyed the rich smooth flavor of the Nutella in combination with the Mine!! The other two (Mint chip and strawberry) were great flavor-wise but the texture was a bit too icy for my tastes.
The small cup ended up being a huge amount of ice cream, all for $4- not bad at all! The owner brought us some cups of water to sip on too while we chatted.
I'll be back for sure! I'm very interested in trying their affogato. How can you go wrong with delicious house-made ice cream and coffee all in the same place?
