We came here for good indian food, but received mediocre british fare. If you are new to indian culture and food, this may be a great option. However, we were highly disappointed despite coming in with an open mind. Our group ordered a variety of dishes and plates from the menu, but were unsatisfied with 4/5 of them due to limited use of authentic ingredients. Furthermore, the waiter told us the vegan bangers and mash was every vegetarians favorite dish BUT it was nasty due to blandness and having bitter ingredients. The potato in it was not even real potatoes. You are paying for presentation when you go here since the plating of the dishes was the best part. However, it is worth noting that Needle and Pin has a good drink selection. The madan mohan drink was awesome since it reminded us of homemade green chutney. Overall though, this place needs to improve a lot.
