rev:text	My friend gave me a week with Diamond Resorts. I booked my week in November 2017 for a March 2018 stay. After a serious health situation we needed to reschedule our trip to May 2018. I called on 1/4/18 to reschedule... there is no way to reschedule online you must call the 800-number. It took 42 minutes for a live person to get on the phone and they couldn't help me and said it would take 24 to 48 hours to reschedule...with a $200 fee. I have now called nine times and I would estimate five hours on hold... And today is January 24 and my reservation still cannot be changed because of a "technical glitch" in their system??? What? 20 days and my paid in full reservation can not be changed? It's not because they're booked... It's because the organization is incompetent. I really don't know why anyone would pay to belong to this place? You have to use your week within a year... I have been working for nearly a month to get a reservation changed... No one calls you back and there is no resolution at this point... I'm hoping somebody sees this by posting this on Yelp and perhaps they will get back in touch with me so I can book my reservation. I can only imagine what the resort looks like but I'm stuck for this week that is already paid for! Do not engage with this company... I have never run into anything like this before... There are so many places you can stay for vacation...do not stay at diamond resorts international! The manager I've been working with is David Pope...I cannot have his manager's contact information...so there is no way for me to go above him, her name is Chelsea Piloian.
