  • I stopped in to Studio 21 Saturday night expecting to discuss my idea with an artist, schedule an appointment and put down a deposit. To my surprise and delight, artist Swarm was available and asked if I wanted to do the tattoo now. Well, yes! Yes I do!! I had been thinking about this particular design for about two years, a line from a song that meant a lot to me. Swarm liked the font that I brought in, we agreed on a price and he went to set up for me. I chatted with the man at the front desk (so sorry, I don't remember your name), looked through the artist books and generally enjoyed being at Studio 21. This was/is my third tattoo from Studio 21. I like their staff, always warm and welcoming. I like their atmosphere and I don't feel intimidated to walk in by myself. Swarm called me back to his area and we looked at the stencil. I wanted it on my foot but wasn't sure exactly where. I trusted Swarm to make the perfect size and placement and he did not disappoint. My song lyric tattoo goes from my heel to my pinkie toe in a black font. I love it!! Swarm has a gentle touch and the conversation flowed easily. He is very friendly and I liked talking with him. Also, he has the quietest tattoo machine I've ever seen. My new tattoo took about 40 minutes or so. Swarm cleaned it off, wrapped it up and thanked me for coming in. I thanked him for being available with zero notice! I would not hesitate to go back to Swarm. I would suggest him and Studio 21 to anyone looking for their next tattoo. Thank you, Swarm and thank you Studio 21!!
