The salesmen lied straight to my face, telling me the floor model tempur-pedic twin sized mattress was a 2016 model and that's why it was over $100 more then the 2014 model I bought back in 2014 or 2015. It's literally the exact same bed my daughter has, made in the same exact year. I wouldn't even be surprised if it's the same one that was with my daughters bed when I purchased it back in 2014 or 2015. I'm so upset with this man right now, I can't even believe someone would do this to a vulnerable mother who went in there with her 2 year old son for some help. I guess this Matthew saw an opportunity with me and he took it and I'm truly let down and upset over this. This is the 3rd mattress we've bought from mattress firm and the 2nd bed at this particular store and loyalty got us nowhere. We have an over $2000 credit line with mattress firm and we've exclusively bought our mattresses through mattress firm and to be screwed over like this, over $140, is just WOW! Please shut off any credit line we have associated with you're store and do not expect us to return. We were about to buy a king sized bed with our credit too but we'll spend our hard earned money somewhere with people we can trust.

I called Matthew back after I found out he lied to me, giving him a chance to apologize and maybe come up with a solution. His response was that he couldn't have done it for any cheaper and that I could return the bed for a full refund with $140 fee for cleaning, even though the bed was still in plastic. Not once did I receive an apology and he even tried to lie to me AGAIN! I told him he lied to me about the model year and he tried to say he never mentioned the model year because he had too many beds to keep track of to know that kind of information. After that I told him he was lying to me again because he specifically used that as an excuse for why the bed was more expensive then my daughters and his response was literally "well...." and then there was a long pause, after which I asked for corporates number and ended the call.
