  • Having heard several accounts of not-so-pleasant staff, I just had to come here and check it out for myself. When I walked in I was greeted with the sight of lovely colors and huge quantities of yarn everywhere. I wandered around a bit looking at and touching a lot of the yarn and taking it all in. When I spent a while at the cotton section a staff member came up and asked if I needed help with anything. I told her I was just browsing and she went back to the front room. I ended up buying a skein of cotton yarn and the same woman rang me up without any unpleasantness. I did not get a chance to try anything from the coffee shop in the back of the store but the staff back there looked friendly and the coffee smell was heavenly. Since this place is so close by I will definitely be going again for future yarn needs.
