| - OMG. Hysterical!
I check their website last night and they have openings. So I drive all the way out there and there are no cars in the leasing center lot. Hmm. So I walk in, but another guy appears and gets in ahead of me by about 20 seconds. He walks up to the gal there and says he is a resident and tells her that his AC has been out for 30 days. Whoops!
So, she calls some maintenance guy who comes to chat with the resident, and all the while I am standing there waiting. Mind you, I have still not been greeted, nor has eye contact been made. So after the resident leaves, I wait another 3-4 minutes and still no greetings and no one approaches me.
I was thinking of going up to the girl and offering $100/hour customer service personalized training, and explain how to welcome potential residents, and to offer some water, etc., but I then figured, I'd rather go get lunch.
Places like this can crawl along until it gets so bad that an owner shows up pretending to be interested in an apartment. Then they'll see how it really works. Yikes!
