  • Wandered in here last Friday and bought two pies and two tarts. The blueberry pie is hands down the BEST blueberry pie I've ever had -- wild blueberries, not too sweet filling, and just the right amount of flaky pie crust. Word of warning...beware of blue stains on your lips if you're trying to eat this pie in secret!!! Macaroni pie was not quite a "pie" per se, but it was pretty yummy and creamy (could use a bit more macaroni....and a bit more cheese). Apple tart had large chunks of apple and the crumble was light, perfect balance between crust and filing (which sometimes is hard to come by in tart form). Pecan tart had crispy pecans, but it was missing a runny gooey centre which I would expect from a pecan butter tart, maybe it just needed to be reheated. Tasty otherwise...and definitely coming back to sample the other deliciousness. Don't come in here hungry, everything smells of freshly baked bread and you're bound of overspend and overextend your waistline! But oh my, it'll be so worth it!
