Came here today with friends that were visiting from San Diego. The wait for a table was about 45 minutes when we went. They have nice seating out front and they also supply fruit infused water with little paper cups while you wait. The 45 minutes went by quickly and we were seated at a table in the back by the daily specials wall. For drinks, ordered the strawberry honey lemonade and that was amazing! The drink was refreshing and not too sweet with great strawberry flavor. I could seriously drink these all day long. For breakfast, I ordered the waffles which came with thick bacon. The bacon was thick cut and was cooked perfectly for me.. nice crunch but not burnt. The bacon seemed to be peppered whatever the seasoning the taste was good. The waffles had a good flavor to them but I wished my waffle had a nice and crisp outside with the fluffy inside. The entire waffle was soft which made me a little sad but it still tasted good. I tried some of my friend's hash browns and that was delicious! They were clearly browned in butter and had a really nice buttery taste to them and they were perfectly textured. Great crispy outside. I also tried another friend's home fries and those were delicious as well. They had a very distinct buttery rosemary taste. Another tasty item I sampled was the strawberry jam that came with the toast. It wasn't too sweet at all and had a creamy texture to it. I wish that I had that option for my waffles instead of the syrup because I don't like syrup and the jam was scrumptious.
The staff was really friendly and attentive. My boyfriend's coffee was never empty. They would continuously refill without us having to ask. They were super busy and still had great service!
