| - I would not recommend this place. I signed up just to post a review because it's that bad (but I will post other reviews on Yelp in the future now that I have an account). The place looks all nice and shiny, the treatment has been working because they have good machines (laser and not IPL), but service is extremely sub par. I have been for maybe 4-5 appointments now as I bought a one year deal and need to use it up. Receptionist has always been fine, unlike the complaints here. However, the technicians never explain to you anything about the treatment (what it will feel like, how to treat it before/after, risks, etc.) and I feel this should be done for everyone on their first visit. Fortunately, I have done laser before elsewhere (and had it explained) so I knew, but they did not know I have done it before. The other thing is that I have been burned on 2 occasions on some spots by one of the technicians (the other one is perfectly nice). Even though I twitch under the laser, she never asks how I am doing or if she should turn it down.. and you don't know if what is happening is normal or not since they don't explain a thing (and also, laser treatment always feels uncomfortable to some degree so you think it is normal). When I got home, I see marks and realize I was burned on my skin! That is unacceptable. In addition, I had a horrible visit a few months ago when I sat and waited for over 30 minutes, and no one said anything to me, not even an apology or explanation. There was even a women who came after me and she went in right away, even though I was there for a long time. When I went up to ask about it, I was told that your appointment is arranged with a specific technician and mine was behind. However, you see a different technician each visit, so why does it matter on that specific day, especially when you see someone waiting there for that long! I was upset as I had arranged this visit during my lunch break (appointments normally take 30min tops - more like 15 min for 3 body parts) and would not have time for it. I think it was 45 minutes before they were even close to seeing me, but I had to leave and get back to work, and had to reschedule. The receptionist (who may have been a temp as I have never seen her there or seen her again) apologized. When the technician came out, she just brushed me off. Extremely rude. If this was my business, I would be apologizing profusely for having someone wait for 45 minutes, and perhaps offer some sort of discounted service or something like that. It's not a doctor's office but a pay-for-service spa! This is unacceptable. I would definitely not return but I already paid for all my sessions so that is the only reason I am returning until my sessions are done. The last time I went, the technician (same one that brushed me off) burned my skin. Nice one. There is one technician that is very nice (though she also doesn't explain anything), but the other one is just very bad at good customer service. Avoid at all costs, even special deals! Not worth it.
