rev:text	Where do I begin? I absolutely despise getting my hair done...whether if it's style, cut or color. It never turns out the way I envisioned and I always end up disappointed and upset. But my hair was long overdue for a professional dye job. Long story short, I found Boulevard Salon through Yelp. Ultimately, I decided on this place because it was pretty close to my house and the above average Yelp ratings. Went in for a consultation to get an estimate on approx. how much coloring my entire hair from roots to ends would be. Ruel assisted me that day. He quoted for $65.00 and I have SUPER THICK LONG HAIR. From the minute we met, I can already tell he knows what he's doing. He took out a color chart, compared different shades to the hot mess of a hair color I had and together, we decided on a single process hair color. Booked my appointment for the week after. Ruel works Mon-Fri until 7pm. He estimated my hair process to be about 2 hours. (In the end, we went over about 15 minutes.) The salon was clean and modern. There were plenty of current gossip magazines already placed out for me. =) We started off not really talking much as I was flipping through my magazines and checking my phone but soon, all those distractions were put away and we were chatting like we've been friends. We warmed up quickly to each other. Funny how much you can find out about one another in a little over 2 hours. And one thing I must mention: SCALP MASSAGE. Goodness, I was in heaven. He really knows how to work his hands....it felt so good and relaxing. (and please get your minds outta the gutter!) In the end, he had to charge me $75.00 for the process because he used my hair dye than anticipated. No problem at all, Ruel. You did great on my hair + that scalp massage....yessssssss..... Only reason I haven't bumped it to a 5 star rating yet is because I don't know if this hair dye will fade. Hopefully not and I hope my light hair will pick up the dark dye and it won't fade away after washes. If it stays, I will bump it to 5 stars.
