  • Even though this motel is being renovated, the service is horrible. If you choose to stay here, don't expect to get any house keeping; maybe you will or maybe you won't. I over heard the house keeper say as I passed by " I don't care if I get back to them or not" ; this was in response to the front desk calling her and informing her of my request for trash to be removed,and fresh towels. She had passed by my room 4 times that day taking care of the rooms the contractors working on the hotel were in , blatantly skipping my room which was in the middle of the floor. Then again at 17:30 I went to the front desk ( because the phone in my room did not work)again to request service . An hour later, still no sign of any clean towels. The star rating system should allow for negative star ratings because that's the way I would go with this place. It's not exactly up to par with other Howard Johnson's I've stayed at...not even close .
