  • I visited this store a while back, but recently popped back into it after gushing over a friend's amazing Marni shoe purchase. Unfortunately, I was less than impressed. While there were some great finds, I would never consider H&M (the basic line) to fall under the 'designer' label that is shouted from the window. There were some great pieces, but I felt they were overpriced. I did, however, find this phenomenal Denis Gagnon black leather jacket. As there was no price tag to be found, I asked the man working there if he could let me know the price. His response was incredibly rude, and very unnecessary: "It's $600. It's Denis Gagnon. Do you even know who that is?!" This was all said in a sneering and pompous manner, and I was promptly ignored after I (shockingly) mumbled something and scurried away, not one for confrontation. (I actually recently wrote about Gagnon for Toronto Fashion Week.) I will not be returning to this store: no one deserves such rude treatment. The best part? He was wearing sweatpants!
