  • I've been a customer on/off for about six years at this salon. The reason why I'm writing a Yelp review is due to the last several visits have been annoying. By annoying I mean these techs seriously hustle as soon as you're in their chair. As someone who spends $2880 a year on nails, sometimes I just want a simple manicure. I don't always have time to sit in a salon for 3.5 hours for gel diamond fade mani/pedi's...frankly, I'd rather spend my valuable time doing something productive. I understand techs are told by the owner to sell. Sell. Sell, more expensive nail treatments but if a customer says no twice, sometimes three or four times, shut up and just do as the customer wishes. I don't need a nail technician to constantly suggest how to spend my money - I just need them to paint my nails. This salon is expensive and prices vary day to day. I get the exact same thing done every visit yet the price changes between $5-8 each time. I've never mentioned the "questionable pricing" due to my tech does an excellent gel diamond fade but enough is enough. Time for me to find another salon. Should be easy, dime a dozen in this town. Second thought: I should save $2880 every year and learn how to paint my own nails. On another note - I read other reviews on how they were pushing 'powder' nail polishes. Exact same thing happened to me on my previous appointment. I had to tell tech no twice on powder and no, 3-4 times on gel mani/pedi. I just wanted a simple (non-gel) mani/pedi which cost $58 (Not including tip). $58 just for regular nail polish which chipped within 3 days ;)
