  • This humidor is one I try to resist the guile of, but the more I get into cigars the more I seem to find my feet taking me here and steering me into the right corner where all the magic bankrupting happens. Yes. It's on the strip and it will be reflected on prices - be realistic with your expectations. Now, that doesn't mean it can't be absolutely worth it, if you know what to get. I always tell tourist, I don't come to the strip for bullshit so it must be a solid place for me to come regularly. Humidor carries Fuente and their "cigar family", Ashton and Diamond Crown products ONLY so no, you can't get your Gurkhas here. There are cigars in every budget so you can get yourself something under $10 to smoke so you don't have to be a high roller to hang. Being a local though that has access to the everyday stuff, I rather buy everyday items off strip. I come for what cannot be bought anywhere else or obtained very easily. If I were to pick though a everyday smoke, I'm huge on the 858 sungrown, Magnum rosado, Ashton VSG. One of the things I go for is their Casa Fuente House Blends. There is a orange banded one (Cameroon wrapper) and a yellow banded one (Rosado wrapper), both are similar blends to the Opus X line - solid medium-full/full bodied cigars that aren't really available anywhere else for $20ish. I always tell people, that's the item to get. They have some rarities in the Opus, Don Carlos, Hemmingway lines that are worth perusing if it's there. Then there are the big daddies, the Forbidden Opus X stuff which are all the rarest vitolas and blends that go from $50-$100+. I'm not a gambler, I rather lose money to a experience than a few minutes at a table, but most definitely this is NOT a everyday thing. The fact that you can find these here and can smoke them on a whim is many hobbyists dream. If you are lost on what to get, customer service here is top notch. Jason, Colt, and Robert have been great on numerous visits and we often get lost in talking cigars with them. The bartenders and cocktail waitresses have also been solid, attentive. Beverages here are solid. I've had several of their signature cocktails and not one of them was badly made. They also have a respectable sipping spirits list of whiskeys and scotch. I have a soft spot for their mojitos and chipotle peach margarita. They make espressos and other coffee beverages if that's more your pairing, but I have not tried them yet. This also means that even if you have friends who don't smoke cigars but like fine drinks, you can bring them too! Only a few cons with this place that don't deter from the overall, but more to keep these in mind. Bathrooms you have to walk either upstairs or down the hall. It's not a large place so it can get full and sometimes it's a bit heavy with smoke. Wicker chairs are not kind to my legs when I wear dresses...and somehow I always am wearing a dress when I go here. It is in the middle of the Forum Shops which means you cannot light a cigar and then walk around as there is a no smoking policy for restaurants and shops so you either smoke there, outside or the casino floor. It can get busy as it is a small place, and Ive gilone before with no spot to sit inside ( you can smoke on the "outside" patio now but its been on/off over thevyears being allowed). Great spot to relax and sit a while. I am very glad we have such a place in our city.
