I have been a fan of Roy's since when I lived in Hawaii 25 years ago. I also enjoyed the Chandler Roy's when I lived in the east valley. I went there for my wife's Bday and our dinner was disappointing. Our check in with reservation took too long. We ordered the calamari appetizer and the sauce with it was way too sour. I know Hawaiian Poke and this was not the real deal--it had tomatoes and tortilla chips. The butterfish was good, but they had the same topping of tomatoes and onion on our braised rib dish--kind of strange. The service was decent, but slow. I will give this place one more try.
