My last review was based off my initial visit, exam and cleaning. I recently had a crown fitted and a few fillings re-done. I was terrified! It was my first time and I had a previous experience with a dentist that was a little rough when putting in the novocaine and it wasn't pleasant at all.
I was prescribed a sedative to help with my anxiety and they allowed me to come an hour early and hang out in the office before my appointment to let it work since I didn't have a ride and I live walking distance. It actually worked to calm my nerves.
I explained to Dr. Baldwin how anxious I was and he completely understood with no judgement at all, and he even told his assistant so she was aware to take extra care. I really appreciate that. Again they had the tv on, the massage chair was on, and he even offered me headphones so I didn't have to listen to the sounds lol. You know the scary drilling type sound!? I was also scared of the novocaine. However, Dr. Baldwin was able to get the area super numb and when he administered it with the needle I barely even felt it! He was very gentle. The whole procedure went so smoothly. I had worried about nothing! His assistant was so wonderful too. She was so helpful in making sure I was comfortable. She is so very sweet and kind. Both of them explained everything to me, what they were doing, and why etc.
I could tell Dr. Baldwin and his staff are perfectionists and you will be able to tell when they work on your teeth. I am beyond happy and trust them completely. Very down to earth and highly skilled- all of them. If you want to feel cared for this is where you want to go. Thanks Yelp!
