Update: I don't know who this Phil guy is that he would know anything about me or my dog because there was not a man present at class. It is interesting that he calls my dog overweight when she is slightly underweight according to the breed standard for her height and according to my vet, which is perfect for performance dogs. The specialist who treated her injuries -- and my dog was out of agility for awhile -- agreed that the injuries were from poor flooring and he could not believe that someone would train dogs on that. I have regularly run Master's and Premier level courses for years so his comments on skill level are ridiculous. He is grasping at straws, and I don't even know who he is since there was only me and two other ladies there. Furthermore, I have met several other people since then who refuse to train their large dogs there anymore due to similar injuries. Go figure when they are landing jumps on concrete!
Original review: Do not train agility here! There is no cushioning on the floors - just 1/16" of non-skid rubber over hard concrete. Within the span of one class, my 23 lb dog was limping from landing jumps on the unforgiving surface. She has never had such an injury before. This place should not be holding classes without providing properly sprung floors for the health and well-being of the dogs they are profiting from. Steer clear of this place if you are doing agility or fly ball.
