| - It might not look like the fanciest venue in Toronto, but it's the slightly old, Victorian facade that makes this historic building so remarkable. Divided in three levels (basement, main level, loft), this venue can boast about amazing acoustics. The main stage, located upstairs, also has a second-level balcony, but the parterre is where you should be. The small size of the room makes it possible for you to be directly in the music and to stay close to the performers, while the acoustics are amazing, thanks to the high ceilings.
I went there for a concert that was part of the Canadian Music Week--the cover price was cheap ($15) and the lineup at the small bar wasn't too long.
Would go back if the occasion arises! Accessible by public transit, which makes any night much less complicated.
