I have a love hate relationship with Whole Foods. So frequently I find their overpriced food lacking in the flavor department. After geeking out at Fry's we stopped by this Whole Foods before our long drive back to LA. Back in Boulder the Whole Foods stocked an excellent turkey meatloaf sandwich in the prepared food case. I have yet to see it at any other store. When I saw the turkey meatball sandwich on the sandwich menu partly obscured behind a bin of rolls I knew it much be tried. I chose olive ciabatta for my bread. The perfectly toasted sandwich was topped with huge turkey meatballs, fresh marinara, and melted provolone. Not surprisingly, I could barely finish my half. I hazard to say that this ranks among the top food items I've acquired at any Whole Foods.
