rev:text	This review is for the salon at Ulta. I went in requesting a trim and deep conditioning treatment. I walked around the store for 15 minutes waiting for a stylist to be available, which I understand as I did not have an appointment. It all went wrong when I sat in Susie's chair. I told her that I simply wanted about an inch and a half taken off my hair. I had some dead ends and wanted to get rid of them. She showed me how much she was going to cut and I originally agreed (she showed me the inch and a half I requested). She proceeded to ask of I wanted long layers - I told her that would be fine but I did not want more than an inch and a half taken off the overall length of my hair. So she cut...and cut...and cut. At this time, I did not know what exactly was coming off of my hair as all the hair she had been cutting fell behind me. She brought me to the shampoo station for what I thought was supposed to be my deep conditioning treatment. It lasted for about 3 minutes before going back to her station. She began what was the worst blow dry I have ever received. My hair is flat - no volume at all. When she was finished and gave me the mirror to look at the back of my hair...I noticed that over 5 inches was taken off the overall length. 5 FREAKING INCHES! I literally want to cry. My birthday is next weekend and I get to celebrate it with a terrible haircut. I get it - hair grows back. But when I specifically ask for something I expect to get it. I absolutely hate my hair and I never want to go back to this salon again! I paid $63 for a haircut I absolutely hate & a 3-minute "deep condition".
